Hi! I develop software at Amazon Web Services, where I build reliable and efficient systems that empower engineers on a global scale. I currently work on Amazon MWAA, a service to run complex data pipelines.

My interests lie at the frontier where software meets silicon. I enjoy exploring the synergy between software design and computer architecture to squeeze every bit of efficiency out of massive systems.

When I’m not optimizing for low latency, I’m usually optimizing my shutter speed to capture Vancouver’s landscapes, cycling the Seawall, hiking the trails on the North Shore, or learning to play the guitar.
